Biography
Hamid Hassan, born on June 1, 1987, in Nangarhar, Afghanistan, is a retired Afghan cricketer who was one of the first pace bowlers to emerge from Afghan cricket. Known for his emotional celebrations and his passionate cricket, Hamid was a key member of the team that gained Test status. He played in the 2015 and 2019 Cricket World Cups and was known for his ability to swing the ball at good pace. After retirement, he has been involved in cricket coaching in Afghanistan.
